At 14 schools in the Mawingu District of Kenya, approximately 7,000 children are at risk of illness and worse due to the lack of safe water. This project, organized by U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer Shailah Bevan, seeks to install and maintain rainwater harvesting systems in conjunction with Project WET's proven water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) education program that has already been used successfully around the world.
